## How the comparison works Base DPS uses only damage per hit multiplied by attack speed. Crit-adjusted DPS adds the average effect of crit chance and crit multiplier, which makes it easier to compare a harder-hitting weapon against a steadier one. ## What this quick comparison leaves out The calculator does not include reloads, accuracy, armor, elemental resistance, headshots, skill scaling, swap time, range or animation locks.
