Minecraft Sphere and Dome Generator

Plan Minecraft spheres and domes layer by layer with radius, hollow or solid mode, and a live block guide.

Use this Minecraft sphere and dome generator when you want a round base, glass roof, observatory or floating planet without guessing the block pattern by hand. Pick the radius, switch between a full sphere and a dome, and inspect one horizontal layer at a time before you start building.

The result gives you the total block count, the number of layers and an ASCII guide that is easy to keep on a second screen or paste into notes. It is a practical way to compare sizes before spending materials in survival.

Use clear inputs to get a more useful result.

The tool breaks the structure into horizontal slices, so each layer works like a circle that belongs to the final 3D shape. Hollow mode keeps only the outer shell, which is usually the better choice for domes, biodomes and decorative shells. Solid mode fills the full volume, which makes more sense for compact sculptures, planets and quick proportion checks. If you are unsure about scale, test a smaller radius first and look at the widest layer before committing to the full build. That layer often decides your footprint, scaffolding plan and the material count that matters most.
